Every year, Buckner sends thousands of individuals and church groups on short-term mission trips to minister to orphans and at-risk children and families in the United States and more than eight countries around the world.
Mission trip participants take part in daily devotionals, pass out humanitarian aid, lead Vacation Bible Schools or sports camps and deliver the Gospel message to many children and families who long for the hope and healing offered through Jesus Christ. Buckner handles all the overseas travel details and works with participants to coordinate group travel within the United States. Trip participants are responsible for raising their own support.

Residential Ministries - Buckner offers residential care to abandoned or neglected children in two locations: The Baptist Children’s Center in Nairobi and the Seed of Hope Children’s Home in Kitale.
Christian Foster Care/Kinship Care Ministries – More than 120 children have found love and hope with families in homes in Nairobi, Busia and Kitale. Extended family members are recruited to care for the children when possible.
ChildDevelopmentCenter– The Center is located in Busia and comprises a school, humanitarian aid assistance, a water well and a medical clinic.
